The Horticultural Coop is a buying group that brings gardening and landscaping entrepreneurs together and supply them with goods and services so that they can benefit from one-of-a-kind advantages.
We rely on our collective strength to propel our community—all while providing a successful environment that fosters success and well-being.
Our roots
The Horticultural Coop took root in 1987. It was born out of the desire of a group of four entrepreneurs who were committed to sharing and cooperation. They joined forces to optimize resources and make the procurement process much easier.
Since then, The Horticultural Coop has devoted itself to helping its member companies grow and flourish. It now has more than 120 members, connected through their passion for horticulture and landscaping. Our vision is to be a high-performance co-op for members and suppliers to enrich everyone’s future.
Although times have changed, our values remain intact. Sharing, courage, innovation, respect and fairness frame everything we do.

FOR A SOLIDARITY-FOCUSED HOLIDAY SEASON
The holiday season is a time to come together, but for some, it can be more challenging. To ensure everyone can enjoy this special time, your cooperative supports initiatives such as the Lévis Firefighters’ Christmas, the Collège de Lévis, Les Petits Frères de Lévis, the Maison de la Famille de la Rive-Sud, Le Grenier, and the Le Filon Food Aid Association.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT DAY
On September 27, 2024, our team visited FERME AUX GENOUX USÉS: Where Humanity is Cultivated! for our annual volunteer day. Ferme aux Genoux Usés is a therapeutic garden created to provide a dignified and healthy environment for individuals struggling with mental health issues or intellectual disabilities.The people who come here are unable to hold regular employment and are not autonomous enough to live alone, but they can accomplish meaningful tasks.
The goal is not to increase revenue, but to enhance the sense of dignity in each participant.
YOUTH CHALLENGE 2024 - UNITING OUR FORCES FOR THE FUTURE OF YOUTH
To raise funds in support of their shared goal—bringing hope to young people in need and helping them envision a brighter future—the Ancrage Jeunesse Foundation and the Youth Foundation of CISSS de Chaudière-Appalaches are inviting participants to take part in a sports challenge organized by Gym Facteur 23. Your Coop contributed a $1,000 sponsorship to support their initiative.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT: A NEW COMPUTER FOR LE 55
During their open house, Le 55, a space dedicated to supporting and listening to individuals experiencing homelessness, shared its commitments to the community. Moved by their mission, our cooperative chose to meet one of their critical needs. We are proud to have provided a complete computer setup (CPU, monitor, keyboard, and mouse) to help their beneficiaries reconnect and move forward in their endeavors. Together, let’s make a difference!
A FUNDRAISING COCKTAIL - ÉDUCOOP SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Foundation for Education in Cooperation and Mutuality organized a fundraising cocktail to collect funds to sustain its scholarship program. This program supports projects in schools, communities, and initiatives for research and education in cooperation and mutuality.
BABY PLANTS MONTH
Proceeds from this initiative go to neonatology department at the Hôpital de Fleurimont, which is part of the Estrie-CHUS CIUSSS.
